Since the inception of our label in 2005, our rich history in releasing some of the finest and most successful homegrown punk, rock, hardcore, metal and alternative music has been our legacy... today we proudly announce the very first signing of an urban music artist to Deadboy Records.
To say that there is excitement around this next chapter of the label's history would be a gross understatement as we proudly welcome Auckland City's Rich James.
From deep roots in the New Zealand hardcore punk scene to his rebirth as an exciting and unique creative force in urban music, Rich James has been captivating the hearts of many modern alternative and hip-hop music fans since the release of his debut EP 'Lord$' in 2016 and the game changing follow up 'The Prelude' in 2017 on the Small Fortunes imprint.
We are excited to be releasing new singles from Rich James all Autumn long with a brand new full length album coming in 2018 on Deadboy Records and Universal Music.
Deadboy Entertainment will handle artist development, publicity and label services for Rich James as the takeover begins this April.
